摘要: A fully three-dimensional mathematical model of a planar solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) with complete direct internal steam reforming was constructed to investigate the chemical and electrochemical characteristics of the porous-electrode-supported (PES)-SOFC developed by the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry of Japan. The effective kinetic models developed over the Ni/YSZ anode takes into account the heat transfer and species diffusion limitations in this porous anode. The models were used to simulate the methane steam reforming processes at the co- and counter-flow patterns. The results show that the flow patterns of gas and air have certain effects on cell performance. The cell at the counter-flow has a higher output voltage and output power density at the same operating conditions. At the counter-flow, however, a high hotspot temperature is observed in the anode with a non-fixed position, even when the air inlet flow rate is increased. This is disadvantageous to the cell. Both cell voltage and power density decrease with increased air flow rate.

Catheterization via direct cannulation of superior vena cava for a hemodialysis patient with an originaldysfunctional catheter on the left internal jugular vein

Establishing a long-term vascular access in patients exhibiting vascular access exhaustion is challenging. In this study, we reported a case of a direct catheterization in the superior vena cava of a hemodialysis patient with vascular access exhaustion and original dysfunctional catheter inserted via the left internal jugular vein. The direct catheterization was performed with cuffed tunnel catheter (CUFF) and guided by digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and multidetector computed tomography venography (MDCTV). The DSA and MDCTV results revealed an occlusion in the right innominate vein and thromboses in the left innominate, right internal jugular, subclavian, and femoral veins. The distal end of the superior vena cava was localized clearly by the original CUFF under DSA. Directed at the distal end of the superior vena cava, a 0.5-cm secondary puncture was introduced below the lateral head of the sternocleidomastoid muscle via the right neck area. This study is one of the few reports regarding direct catheterization of CUFF via the superior vena cava of a patient with vascular access exhaustion and CUFF dysfunction on the left internal jugular vein. We believe that our study can provide a new alternative for inserting central venous catheter for such patient.

Thermodynamic analysis of steam reforming of glycerol for hydrogen production at atmospheric pressure

摘要: Thermodynamic chemical equilibrium analysis of steam reforming of glycerol (SRG) for selective hydrogen production was performed based on the Gibbs free energy minimisation method. The ideal SRG reaction (C H O +3H O→3CO +7H ) and a comprehensive set of side reactions during SRG are considered for the formation of a wide range of products. Specifically, this work focused on the analysis of formation of H CO , CO and CH in the gas phase and determination of the carbon free region in SRG under the conditions at atmospheric pressure, 600€K–1100€K and 1.013 × 10 –1.013 × 10 Pa with the steam-to-glycerol feed ratios (SGFR) of 1:5–10. The reaction conditions which favoured SRG for H production with minimum coke formation were identifies as: atmospheric pressure, temperatures of 900€K–1050€K and SGFR of 10:1. The influence of using the inert carrier gas (i.e., N ) in SRG was studied as well at atmospheric pressure. Although the presence of N in the stream decreased the partial pressure of reactants, it was beneficial to improve the equilibrium yield of H . Under both conditions of SRG (with/without inert gas), the CH production is minimised, and carbon formation was thermodynamically unfavoured at steam rich conditions of SGFR>5:1.

南海富碳天然气直接利用技术发展研究

摘要:

我国南海富碳天然气具有 CO2 含量高的特点,高效开发和精准利用南海富碳天然气资源,有助于积极应对气候变化,实现“碳达峰、碳中和”目标。本文分析了南海富碳天然气直接利用的需求和价值,概括了富碳天然气直接利用的发展现状;重点论述了富碳天然气 CO2-CH4 干重整技术、富碳天然气制甲醇一体化技术、富碳天然气 CO2 加氢制液体燃料技术、富碳天然气直接制精细化工品技术等的实施过程与应用特征。研究建议,南海富碳天然气资源有其特殊性,应加强研究并实施重点攻关,建立海洋富碳天然气综合利用技术工程化平台,与非化石能源风能、太阳能及核能紧密融合发展,推进南海富碳天然气产业的可持续发展;针对性布局南海富碳天然气产业,加强富碳天然气的开发与利用力度,尽快实现转型升级;建立“产学研用”战略联盟,保障产业与技术合作需求。

The study of cylindrical particulate internal flows has wide industrial applicability hence received much attention. This article reviews the cylindrical particulate internal flows over the past twenty years. The research is related to the cylindrical particulate flows in the straight channel, curved channel and rotational channel. Finally, several open research issues have been identified.

Steam reforming of toluene as a tar model compound with modified nickel-based catalyst

摘要: Catalytic steam reforming is a promising route for tar conversion to high energy syngas in the process of biomass gasification. However, the catalyst deactivation caused by the deposition of residual carbon is still a major challenge. In this paper, a modified Ni-based Ni-Co/Al O -CaO (Ni-Co/AC) catalyst and a conventional Ni/Al O (Ni/A) catalyst were prepared and tested for tar catalytic removal in which toluene was selected as the model component. Experiments were conducted to reveal the influences of the reaction temperature and the ratio between steam to carbon on the toluene conversion and the hydrogen yield. The physicochemical properties of the modified Ni-based catalyst were determined by a series of characterization methods. The results indicated that the Ni-Co alloy was determined over the Ni-Co/AC catalyst. The doping of CaO and the presence of Ni-Co alloy promoted the performance of toluene catalytic dissociation over Ni-Co/AC catalyst compared with that over Ni/A catalyst. After testing in steam for 40 h, the carbon conversion over Ni-Co/AC maintained above 86% and its resistance to carbon deposition was superior to Ni/A catalyst.

摘要: The growing interest has been placed in the current state of Chinaºs internal medicine from all over the world. Many data of internal medicine in China were collected by searching through some of the most prominent medical magazines published in China in 2006. Because there are many researches on the field of internal medicine, just some representative reports focusing on this topic were selected in this paper. In part I of this study, a summary of the advances made in cardiology, respiration diseases, and gastroenterology was presented.

Unified cycle model of a class of internal combustion engines and their optimum performance characteristics

摘要: The unified cycle model of a class of internal combustion engines is presented, in which the influence of the multi-irreversibilities mainly resulting from the adiabatic processes, finite-time processes and heat leak loss through the cylinder wall on the performance of the cycle are taken into account. Based on the thermodynamic analysis method, the mathematical expressions of the power output and efficiency of the cycle are calculated and some important characteristic curves are given. The influence of the various design parameters such as the high-low pressure ratio, the high-low temperature ratio, the compression and expansion isentropic efficiencies etc. on the performance of the cycle is analyzed. The optimum criteria of some important parameters such as the power output, efficiency and pressure ratio are derived. The results obtained from this unified cycle model are very general and useful, from which the optimal performance of the Atkinson, Otto, Diesel, Dual and Miller heat engines and some new heat engines can be directly derived.

摘要: Presently, the global search for alternative renewable energy sources is rising due to the depletion of fossil fuel and rising greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Among alternatives, hydrogen (H ) produced from biomass gasification is considered a green energy sector, due to its environmentally friendly, sustainable, and renewable characteristics. However, tar formation along with syngas is a severe impediment to biomass conversion efficiency, which results in process-related problems. Typically, tar consists of various hydrocarbons (HCs), which are also sources for syngas. Hence, catalytic steam reforming is an effective technique to address tar formation and improve H production from biomass gasification. Of the various classes in existence, supported metal catalysts are considered the most promising. This paper focuses on the current researching status, prospects, and challenges of steam reforming of gasified biomass tar. Besides, it includes recent developments in tar compositional analysis, supported metal catalysts, along with the reactions and process conditions for catalytic steam reforming. Moreover, it discusses alternatives such as dry and autothermal reforming of tar.

摘要: A Ni/MgO catalyst was prepared via novel dielectric-barrier discharge (DBD) plasma decomposition method. The combined characterization of Brunauer-Emmett-Teller measurement, X-ray diffraction, hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction and transmission electron microscopy shows that DBD plasma treatment enhances the support-metal interaction of Ni/MgO catalyst and facilitates the formation of smaller Ni particles. Sphere-like Ni particles form on plasma treated Ni/MgO catalysts. The plasma treated Ni/MgO catalyst shows a significantly improved low temperature activity and good stability for CO reforming of methane to syngas.

Embankment dam foundation analysis for the decrease of internal erosion likelihood

摘要: A zoned embankment dam is founded on clay underlain by a sand deposit. Major seepage phenomena were noticed in the foundation downstream from the dam where the vertical seepage forces in the sand layer were expected to exceed the downward forces due to the overlying clay. Modern technologies were applied to delineate critical zones to help design optimal rehabilitation measures. A global electromagnetic survey was carried out to detect and map the main sources, pathways and exits of seepage. Based on these global findings, a more detailed analysis was then conducted to identify zones where thickness of the foundation clay is minimal, pore pressures in sand are higher and thus where the factor of safety against uplift is lower and internal erosion is more likely to occur. Clay thickness evaluation required the determination of land surface as well as clay-sand contact elevations. A laser airborne survey was performed to model the land surface elevation. Data concerning the clay-sand contact elevation came from the interpreted stratigraphy based on a series of boreholes and cone penetration tests. This data was combined in a geostatistical model along with the measured piezometric levels in the foundation. This resulted in a contour map showing factors of safety against uplift over the entire downstream area. The use of modern technologies, namely electromagnetic and laser surveys as well as geostatistical tools, was instrumental in defining the limits of an otherwise spread-out problem and to provide an optimal solution, in terms of costs and effectiveness, for the long-term stabilization of the foundation.

Advances in polishing of internal structures on parts made by laser-based powder bed fusion

摘要: The internal structures of metallic products are important in realizing functional applications. Considering the manufacturing of inner structures, laser-based powder bed fusion (L-PBF) is an attractive approach because its layering principle enables the fabrication of parts with customized interior structures. However, the inferior surface quality of L-PBF components hinders its productization progress seriously. In this article, process, basic forms, and applications relevant to L-PBF internal structures are reviewed comprehensively. The causes of poor surface quality and differences in the microstructure and property of the surface features of L-PBF inner structures are presented to provide a perspective of their surface characteristics. Various polishing technologies for L-PBF components with inner structures are presented, whereas their strengths and weaknesses are summarized along with a discussion on the challenges and prospects for improving the interior surface quality of L-PBF parts.
